About these terms

These terms describe the permitted use of My Tech Profile (my-tech-profile.dev), the personal portfolio and technical publication of José Adrián Alemán Rojas, based in Costa Rica. They apply to the site’s articles, sketchnotes, professional information, and newsletter. If you do not agree with these terms, please stop using the site.

Educational content

Articles, code examples, diagrams, and opinions are provided for general information and learning. They reflect the context and knowledge available when published and may become outdated. Evaluate and test any technique or code before using it in your own systems. Reading this site or contacting its author does not create a consulting relationship or a commitment to provide professional services; those require a separate agreement.

Acceptable use

• Use the site lawfully and respect other people’s privacy and intellectual property.
• Do not attempt unauthorized access to administration, data, or infrastructure.
• Do not disrupt the service, bypass security controls, or manipulate visit and reaction counts.
• Subscribe only with an email address you control; do not submit another person’s address without permission.

Content and intellectual property

Unless a different license or attribution is stated, original articles, sketchnotes, images, and site materials belong to their respective authors or rights holders. You may link to the site and share brief excerpts with clear attribution and a link to the original page. Republishing complete articles or illustrations, or using them commercially, requires permission unless an applicable license or law permits it.

Code and projects with an explicit license remain governed by that license. Third-party names, trademarks, and materials belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not imply an endorsement.

Newsletter subscriptions

The newsletter is optional and requires email confirmation. Confirming requests a daily digest of published content when available. Delivery frequency, content, and availability may change, and uninterrupted delivery is not guaranteed. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in a digest. Information associated with your subscription is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

External links and services

Links to repositories, social networks, projects, and other websites are provided for reference. Their content, availability, terms, and privacy practices are controlled by their operators. Review those terms before using an external service or sharing information with it. Products linked from this portfolio may have their own separate terms.
